Dicks, Clyde and Kendra (Denver's parents)
Clyde and Kendra were married on May 31, 1997 in Fargo, North Dakota, USA. They presently live in the suburb of Carrollton, about 20 miles north of downtown Dallas, Texas. They have three sons: Denver, born Sept. 17, 1999; Kelvin, born April 23, 2002; and Aaron, born July 24, 2004. Clyde and two business partners own Auto Lead Exchange and CarSlave.com and Kendra works as a caregiver at a nearby daycare center.
Dicks, Denver
Denver is the eldest son of Clyde and Kendra. He was born on September 17, 1999, in Dallas, Texas. He has Clyde's brown eyes and Kendra's blonde hair. He loves swimming, soccer, and all games. He has an outstanding memory, so don't play the Memory Game with him for cash.
Dicks, Kelvin
Kelvin is the second son of Clyde and Kendra. He was born on April 23, 2002 in Carrollton, Texas. He has green eyes and red hair. He loves swimming, singing, and playing with trains. He wears his feelings on his face, and is very expressive.
Dicks, Aaron
Aaron is the third son of Clyde and Kendra. He was born on July 24, 2004 in Carrollton, Texas. He has brown eyes and ash-blonde hair that seems to be darkening with age. He loves to slide chairs around the kitchen and climb on tables and counters. With two bigger brother, he is already one tough kid and can handle himself in a wrestle with Denver and Kelvin.
Dicks, Ray and Brenda (Shannon, Clyde, and Lloyd's parents)
Ray and Brenda live in the quiet and pleasant suburb of Welgemoed, just a short drive from Cape Town in South Africa. Ray is retired from the busines he founded, Star Personnel, a leading personnel agency in the Cape Town area, and enjoys DIY projects around the house and also being a member of the Durbanville Bowling Club. Brenda enjoy caregiving for the elderly, tending the affairs at home, and is also the undisputed leading correspondant in the family.
Dicks, Shannon
Shannon lives a few kilometers from Ray and Brenda. She is the Managing Director of Star Personnel, and has been with the company since its inception in 1986. Shannon is very involved with youth ministering at the Durbanville Methodist Church, in addition to her many other volunteer activities.
Dicks, Lloyd
Lloyd also lives a few kilometers from Ray and Brenda, in the suburb of Durbanville. He owns his own business, which is affiliated with Star Personnel and his business specializes in Information Technology recruitment. Lloyd also founded and operates Job Fishing, which helps South African jobseekers become more skilled in the process of finding employment. In May 2005, Lloyd and Sandra White were married in Stellenbosch.
Haslerud, Wayne and Tania (Jason, Kendra, and Scott's parents)
Wayne and Tania live about 15 miles north of Hawley, Minnesota in the U.S. Wayne works on a farm that produces most of the chicken eggs in the region. Tania owns and operates her own accounting and tax preparation business in downtown Hawley, Haslerud Tax Service.
Haslerud, Jason
Jason lives and works in West Fargo, North Dakota, about 20 miles from Wayne and Tania. He is employed by U.S. Bank and assists with the settlement of disputes. He spends much of his spare time on the computer or hanging out with friends.
Haslerud, Scott and Kristy
Scott and Kristy were married on July 29, 2000 in Kragnes, Minnesota and are currently living in West Fargo, North Dakota. Scott works for Rosenbluth International doing helpdesk support for Orbitz.com while he is pursuing a degree in computer networking. Kristy works at Merit Care and Pracs Institute while she finishes her degree at North Dakota State University.
